Yasmin Mogahed



Yasmin Mogahed, (@yasminmogahed) born in 1980 in the United States, is a Muslim scholar and lecturer. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degress at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied psychology, journalism, and mass communications. Upon completed her studies, she began to teach Islamic studies and work as a youth coordinator. In addition to her work as an instructor, she is a published author, sharing her articles and thought pieces across a number of different mediums, including Huffington Post and InFocus News. She has also published two books – Reclaim Your Heart & Love & Happiness: A collection of Personal Reflections and Quotes. Today, she works as an instructor for Al Maghrib Institute and travels the world as an international speaker, giving motivational speeches on spiritual and personal development.
